General advice:
- Understand what VC is and how it works.
- Do a lot of research about the VC you apply for (portfolio…)
- Build strong, authentic relationships with people in the VC ecosystem.
- Be ready to articulate your motivations and knowledge about specific industries and startups.
- You can enter VC coming from various backgrounds - engineering, business, finance, startups.
- A first experience in startups, corporate finance (M&A/PE), or consulting is often required
